-
Making video and photo documentaries of Haitians' daily life through the eyes of an artist.

-
Creation of a cultural office that will be the bridge between Haiti and France. Collective workshops will be offered to locals and led by a diversity of French artists.
-
Promotion of this unknown culture through exhibitions in big cities of France.
-
Selling Haitian creations via a web-shop allowing valuation of the local artists.
Exchanges:
-
Artists will come from France (painters, photographs, sculptors, street artists) to exchange their technics with local artists, and discover the country. On the other hand, allowing Haitian artists to go outside of their country and culture to visit France.
Culture in Haïti
The Haitian culture is plentiful, multiform and fascinating by its creativity.
Unfortunately, it suffers from the countries difficulties: poor means and rare acknowledgement abroad.
GED is willing to improve the Haitian culture with the creation of a bridge with France and Europe.
GED has planed to develop cultural exchanges between French/ international and local artists local.
For us, the future of a country goes also through the recognition of its culture locally and internationally.
Art, Culture and Social inclusion
At many levels access to culture and participation to cultural activities play a key role into the feeling of social inclusion.
This allows the development of skills and self confidence. Self esteem and self confidence facilitate social participation and positive feeling of identity but also increases chances to find a job. The majority of the youth in Haiti is unfortunately very exposed to exclusion and disadvantaged.
This project will help them to feel that they finally "fit" inside their society.
Social inclusion
The social inclusion provides means to kids and adults to participate as valued, respected members contributing to their community and society.
Five key points: valorized recognition, human development opportunities, implication and engagement, proximity, material well-being.
